Most Common Complaint N/A
Recent Lawsuits No

Low Complaint Total

We are only able to locate two negative ZeerPay reviews across all consumer protection websites, and neither ZeerPay complaint accuses the company of scamming its merchants. One ZeerPay complaint doesn’t describe any specific issues and was posted in 2010 by an anonymous profile. Another describes an unexpected and improper $500 charge assessed more than a year after the client terminated service. It appears these issues are isolated, as there have been no more such complaints. If you have your own ZeerPay review to make, please do so in the comments below.

ZeerPay Lawsuits and Fines

We have not found any outstanding class-action lawsuits or FTC complaints filed against ZeerPay. Dissatisfied clients who wish to pursue a non-litigious course of action against the company should consider reporting it to the relevant supervisory organizations.

ZeerPay Customer Support Options

ZeerPay Fees, Rates & Costs

A Closer Look at The Contract

Cost & Fees Summary
Cancellation Penalties Yes
Monthly & Annual Fees Yes
Processing Rates Variable
Equipment Leasing Yes

ZeerPay Contract Terms

There is very little specific information available regarding standard ZeerPay rates or its contract. The company appears to be a First Data (Fiserv) reseller, which means that its contract terms will likely bear some resemblance to the standard First Data (Fiserv) terms. A typical First Data (Fiserv) contract charges businesses that process up to $50,000 each month a swiped rate of 2.69% plus $0.19 and a keyed-in rate of 3.69% plus $0.19. Businesses whose monthly charges exceed $50,000 will receive a swiped rate of 2.29% plus $0.19 and a keyed-in rate of 3.29% plus $0.19. Additionally, these contracts assess a $495 early termination fee, a monthly PCI compliance fee of $19.95, and a long-term, non-cancellable equipment lease through First Data Global Leasing.

However, First Data (Fiserv) does allow resellers to modify contracts they offer clients, so it is likely that ZeerPay has some authority to alter terms as it deems necessary. However, business owners should refer to the First Data (Fiserv) rate and fee structure as a basis of reference with so little information being available about the company’s contract terms. Businesses should be prepared to negotiate favorable contract terms with ZeerPay.

Virtual Terminal and Payment Gateway Pricing

In addition to its storefront payment processing services, ZeerPay also dedicates a portion of its website to advertising its virtual terminal and payment gateway services, called Payeezy Gateway. Payeezy offers 2 separate plans, the Basic Plan and Pro Plan. Neither plan charges setup fees, statement fees, or gateway fees. The Basic Plan charges a rate of 2.90% plus $0.30. Meanwhile, the Pro Plan offers a lower rate of 1.89% plus $0.23 and a monthly fee of $19.95.

No Contract Complaints

There are no ZeerPay complaints online that describe specific problems with ZeerPay’s pricing and fees, so we will assume for the time being that the company provides satisfactory terms to its clients. If you have any knowledge of the standard ZeerPay contract (including any early termination fees, PCI compliance fees, monthly minimum fees, or other costs) please share those details in the comment section below.

ZeerPay Employee Reviews & Sales Tacitcs

Should You Work For Them?

Jobs & Marketing Summary
Uses Independent Resellers Yes

Misleading Marketing No
Discloses All Important Terms No

No Sales Complaints

ZeerPay appears to market its services through affiliate resellers and independently contracted sales agents. The use of independent sales agents is typically tied to high complaint rates within the credit card processing industry due to the minimal training and oversight that these agents receive. In this case, though, we are unable to locate any ZeerPay reviews that describe deception or incompetence by the company’s sales team.

This compares favorably to our list of best credit card processors.

No Deceptive Advertising

ZeerPay also does not promote misleading rate quotes on its website. We therefore award the company an “A” in this category. If you suspect that ZeerPay’s sales team has added undisclosed fees to your account, however, we recommend seeking a third-party statement audit.
