E-Commerce is More Than Just Processing Payments Online

It's the truth: In order for your business to remain competitive in the modern marketplace, you'll need to maintain some kind of web presence. Whether it's a complete website, an online directory listing, or a social media profile, your company's online identity allows customers to research your product and contact you over the Internet. You may even choose to build a fully functional e-commerce website that enables visitors to conveniently shop for your products online, rave about your products publicly, and share their positive experiences with other customers.

But setting up an online merchant account can seem like a complex and risky affair, especially when it comes to security and maintenance costs. If you already run a successful brick-and-mortar operation with a limited online presence, you may wonder whether it's worth the risk to switch processors just to set up an internet storefront.

That's why we've compiled this list of reliable, full-service, all-in-one e-commerce providers for traditional merchants. The payment processors in this list are best known for providing quality merchant services to large, established brick-and-mortar merchants through their traditional processing options, but they also offer e-commerce solutions that have been favorably reviewed. If you currently operate (or will soon be launching) a business that requires a robust service suite for both face-to-face and online transactions, this list should be useful to you.

Please note that while all of these companies offer all-in-one credit card processing, they each have different strengths and weaknesses that may or may not match your business's needs. You should be sure to research each provider carefully in order to determine which one is the most suitable for you.

How to Select the Best E-Commerce Credit Card Processor

When selecting a credit card processor for an E-commerce business in the USA, there are some factors that should be considered.

Payment Security

E-commerce businesses must prioritize payment security when selecting a credit card processor. Ensure that the processor is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) to protect your business from fraud, data breaches, and other security risks.

Credit Card Processing Fees

Look for a credit card processor that charges reasonable fees for transactions. Most credit card processors charge a percentage of each transaction, and some may charge additional fees for services such as chargebacks, refunds, and account maintenance. Be sure to review the fee structure and compare it with other processors before making a decision.

Compatibility

Ensure that the credit card processor is compatible with your e-commerce platform and shopping cart. Most processors work with major e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, and WooCommerce, but it's important to confirm compatibility before signing up.

Integration

Choose a credit card processor that integrates with your other business systems, such as accounting software, inventory management systems, and shipping solutions. This will streamline your business processes and reduce manual data entry.

Payment Options

Consider offering customers multiple payment options, including credit cards, debit cards, and digital wallets such as PayPal and Apple Pay. Choose a credit card processor that supports these payment options to cater to a broader range of customers.

Superior Customer Support

Choose a credit card processor that offers excellent customer support. This is essential if you experience any issues with transactions or need assistance with account setup and management.

Reputation

Finally, choose a credit card processor with a good reputation in the industry. Look for reviews and feedback from other e-commerce businesses to gauge the processor's reliability, security, and customer service. You can consider our review on this website, by simply searching for the processor in the search bar at the top of this page.

I was with PayPal and never had one charge back for over 5 years.
    For your audience
    2 class action lawsuits.
the link is here, I will be contacting them to see if it is possible to join in.
With big guns like this only a class action will dent them
    Also:
File a complaint with New York Attorney general’s office.
I read this on some of the RipOff Reports about this company.
As small businesses and entrepreneurs we don’t have time, or the big bucks to go after these people.
Thus the suggestion to check out the class action suits, file complaints at the New YOrk Attorneys office, and go to your congressman to report,

The worst experience ive had with cc processing companies and I have had many. First the rates are much higher than they are supposed to be but anytime email my account representative with questions he takes days even weeks to respond if he responds at all. Then when he does he does not answer my questions but sends information that does not answer my question. So today I called to speak with him, after I told him my problems he says hold on and transfers me to a voicemail that says they are too busy to talk to me but will call me back as soon as they can. Before I signed up for their service this guy would email me 2-3 times a day and respond to my questions within minutes. This company has terrible customer service and does not perform to the standards that they tell you before signing up.

As a owner of a fulfillment company we have seen what happens when you have a bad Merchant provider compared to a good Merchant provider. There is a ton of scammers out there just looking to pull one over on anyone, I think some of them would or probably already have stolen from their mothers. Very sad to say the least. We have great service from Shopify along with Chase Payment tech. You might pay a half percent more per transaction but trust me it is worth it in the end. This is a outstanding web page and has a ton of great information for those who do not know which way to turn. Great Job on the site.
