An EVO Payments International Reseller
Omega Processing Solutions is a merchant account provider headquartered in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. In January 2022, Celero Commerce acquired Omega Processing.

Low Complaint Total
We have located only a few negative Omega Processing complaints outside of the Better Business Bureau, none of which accuse the company of being a ripoff or scam. One Omega Processing complaint was filed in the comment section below this review and seems to describe aggressive collection attempts by the company on an account that is either closed or never existed. The others are scattered across various profiles and generally describe technical issues and poor customer service. If you have your own Omega Processing complaint to make, please do so in the comment section below.
Omega Processing Lawsuits and Fines
We have not found any outstanding class-action lawsuits or FTC complaints filed against Omega Processing. Dissatisfied merchants who wish to pursue a non-litigious course of action against the company should consider reporting it to the relevant supervisory organizations.
Omega Processing Customer Service Options
Omega’s generally low complaint rate is most likely attributable to the company’s use of an in-house customer service and support staff. The Omega Processing website no longer provides contact information for phone and email support, with only a customer support form on its website. Overall, the company’s support channels do not compare favorably to top-rated payment processors for great customer service.

Under 10 Complaints
Omega Processing has been an accredited business of the BBB since 2005 and currently has an “A+” rating based on 1 complaint in the past three years. The 1 complaint had to do with a product or service and was either resolved to the dissatisfaction of the merchant or did not receive a final communication.
What Merchants Say
In addition to 1 complaint, the company has received 1 informal review on its BBB profile. However, the review is positive in tone and may not accurately reflect issues that merchants may encounter with the company.
An “A” Performance
Given Omega’s time in business and the fact that it has only received three complaints in the past three years, we agree with the BBB’s rating. Merchants should note, however, that there are good reasons to be skeptical of the BBB’s rating system.

Tiered Pricing Structure
The standard Omega Processing contract is a month-to-month agreement through EVO Payments International with an account closure fee of $60. The contract also stipulates that for merchants under tiered pricing plans, the quoted rate only applies to “Qualified” transactions, while “Mid-Qualified” transactions are subject to an additional surcharge of “up to 1.48% + $0.20” and “Non-Qualified” transactions are subject to a surcharge of “up to 1.98% + $0.20.” At first glance, this appears to be an attempt by either EVO or Omega to codify a type of rate quoting that we consider deceptive. However, the lack of Omega Processing complaints regarding this potential issue indicates that the company’s sales agents tend to disclose all possible rates.
Virtual Terminal and Payment Gateway Pricing
In addition to its storefront payment processing services, Omega Processing also dedicates a portion of its website to advertising its virtual terminal and payment gateway services. However, pricing is not disclosed on either of those services. Additional rates and fees, including gateway fees, technical support fees, batch fees, and additional transaction rates typically apply to these e-commerce services.
Level 2 and Level 3 Processing Services
In addition to its traditional merchant services, Omega Processing also advertises that it provides Level 2 and Level 3 processing for B2B and B2G transactions through its virtual terminal. Level 2 and Level 3 processing rely upon different interchange rates than traditional consumer credit transactions. Accommodating those rates requires different payment processing technology from a merchant account provider to transmit the amount of data required to facilitate the transactions. These services are reserved for B2B and B2G purchases that utilize corporate credit cards.
Industry-Average Terms
Omega’s month-to-month agreement and low termination fee make its standard contract competitive when compared to industry averages. It is unknown whether the Omega Processing fees include a PCI compliance fee though a stand EVO Payments International contract includes one of $120 per year. That standard contract also includes a non-cancellable equipment lease lasting for the term of the contract. Overall, the lack of complaints about the company’s contract terms and the low cost of its confirmed rates and fees incline us to award Omega Processing an “A” at this time, but its terms are still not as favorable as some of the cheapest merchant accounts available.

Inside and Outside Sales Staff
Omega Processing appears to rely on a W-2 employed sales team, outside sales agents, and local partnerships to market its services. There is no evidence that the company engages in “hiring mill” tactics, and we cannot find any Omega Processing complaints that allege unethical behavior by sales agents.
This compares favorably to our list of best credit card processors.
No Deceptive Rate Quotes
Additionally, the Omega website does not engage in deceptive rate quoting or misleading advertising language. We have accordingly assigned the company an “A” rating in this category. That said, we always urge merchants to seek a third-party statement audit to find and eliminate hidden fees.

Yhey have my mailing address I have told them put it in writing so I can turn it over to my attorney. But all they do is call. I am 72 and they are making me ill.
