What Merchants Say

Payline Data has also received 1 informal review in the last 3 years. A former review described deceptive fees added to the contract:

I have used Payline Data for almost 5 years with very few issues and ones that were always resolved. Recently, I discovered that they began adding risk fees with certain credit cards that started back in October of 2021. To my fault, I didn’t read the bottom of each statement I had access to on their portal stating that certain fees would be added starting October 1st of 2021. However, when trying to find out more about these fees and which cards they would be applied to for using, I could not get an answer. First, they stated that I was taking too many cards (not present) and/or swiping too many cards instead of using the chip. After explaining this was not the case, they said some cards have different risk levels and therefore they were adding these fees. Basically, certain business cards or rewards cards may have risk fees associated with them. Keep in mind, they were doing this and not the credit card company. So, everything I was doing for the first 4 years was fine but then I began getting charges for certain cards (like 50%) but they couldn’t tell me which cards were doing this and gave no solution to the problem. This last month, my credit card processing fee was over 4% and with only a small portion from AMEX. Ironically, the last time I spoke with them, they offered to give me a $500 credit for this year or something to that effect. This convinced me that they knew they were doing something that was not fair and decided to try and make me happy so that I wouldn’t leave. So, please be aware of this if you are considering using them for credit card processing or if you already do.

In addition to the inaccurate rates, it appears that this merchant was not able to resolve their issue through the company’s customer service representatives. Achieving a resolution of problems like this is potential clients should review their options for providers who exemplify great customer service.

An “A” Rating

There are also two negative informal reviews posted to Payline’s BBB profile. Given this information, we agree with the BBB’s rating at this time.

Payline Data’s Interchange Pricing Model

Payline Data has updated its pricing structure to cater to various business types. The company now offers interchange plus 0.2% and an additional $0.10 per transaction for swipe rates. For keyed-in transactions, the rate is interchange plus 0.3% and $0.20. While Payline Data also promotes a tiered pricing system on its website, these rates are subject to change based on the client’s business size and type.

Hardware options include a mobile reader compatible with their free app for $43, and a countertop terminal that supports swipe/dip/tap transactions for $298. Payline Data accounts feature direct integration with Quickbooks and potentially offer enterprise solutions for very large businesses.

Virtual Terminal and Payment Gateway Fees

Payline Data’s virtual terminal and payment gateway, known as Payline Connect, charges interchange plus 0.3% and an additional $0.20 per transaction. This service, suitable for e-commerce, includes a $10 monthly gateway fee, covering PCI compliance costs. Payline Data offers month-to-month service with no early termination fees. For high-risk merchants, alternatives through Network Merchants Inc. or Authorize.Net are available, although specific pricing for these portals is not publicized.

Additional Fees and High-Risk Accounts

Payline Data’s pricing structure includes a $25 monthly minimum fee, but excludes annual fees, PCI compliance fees, gateway fees, and early termination fees. The absence of long-term contracts and the provision of lifetime equipment protection are notable benefits. High-risk merchant accounts typically receive tailored pricing and contract terms based on specific industry risks.

    To whom it may concern:
I recently signed up and I wanted to express my complete satisfaction with Payline. This is a first class company and kudos to my rep Andy Roth who went way above and beyond the call of duty to help me understand all my options. Great communication and always a quick response from him and a pleasure to do business with. I was with another provider for years and was not happy with them and wished I had switched over to Payline years ago. I highly recommend this company and look forward to working with them for many years to come.

    Sincere regards,

From our first conversation through the closing of my account, Zach provided candid, straightforward and helpful information about my choices and best options. He did not pressure me to work with Payline, but told me what I needed to know and helped get me set up once I’d made my own decision. I will be calling Payline again next year to set up processing for my seasonal business.

  • Dr. Laura Bologh, PHD

Zach was very knowledgeable, patient, informative, and helpful. He spent a good deal of time with me, going over how Payline works and the rate you could offer. I was quite pleased to learn that Payline was willing to accept a modest fee above the interchange rate, rather than seek to ransack and plunder me. And though I typically don’t love the nickel-and-diming approach of being charged 10 cents per transaction and a monthly fee, in this case, those nickels and dimes ended up being, well, mere nickels and dimes.

Payline’s rate of 0.3% above interchange was looking like it was going to save us money even beyond Chase’s offer. But then, Zach truly won me over when he offered to come down to 0.2% above interchange. This clearly made Payline’s offer substantially better than Chase’s. If Zach had been a New Yorker, I would have viewed this as the typical “But for YOU I’ll give . . .” ploy that the salesmen here are prepared to give any old schmo. But knowing that you are based in Illinois, I felt this to be a genuine act of Midwestern kindness. So I was prepared to go with Payline. I wrote to Chase and told them to cancel my application. They countered with, “If you can pass along Payline’s offer in writing, we can offer to beat their rate.” Now this, to me, is classic multinational corporate sleaze. They offered me one rate — a flat rate — that they felt I would take, and then, when they found out that I wised up to the existence of “IC+” rates, only then were they willing to give me their lowest rate. I feel they should have offered me their IC+ rate up front, not their “here’s a rate slightly better than the outsized Square rate” rate. So goodbye Chase, hello Payline. I wish I could say that the process of applying to Payline was as smooth as the process of obtaining a rate from Payline, for it most certainly was not. But this is not the fault of Zach or Payline. For some reason, a glitch in the online application process occurred, I think because the application was prepared in my name but my wife’s business is in her name. So Zach and I had a lot of back-and-forths trying to get to the bottom of that. But Zach was great throughout the process. He was an excellent communicator, he was thoughtful in exploring potential solutions, he was giving of his time, and he gave me great confidence in the integrity of the company. For example, in one of our conversations, I digressed to ask him if he could educate me about chargebacks, and within minutes he emailed me a wonderfully informative article on the subject. I could tell that my time-consuming experience with the application process was uncommon and that Zach (and his colleagues) were genuinely eager to learn from this experience so that the company could correct any glitches in the online application process.

One evening, when my fourth or fifth effort to complete the online application failed, I called after hours to see if I could reach Zach. I left a voicemail and one of Zach’s colleagues called me back. (It’s impressive that the staff responds to phone calls and emails seemingly around the clock, but I would that this reflected their personal sense of dedication rather than any pressure from on high to be on call 24/7.) Anyway, the colleague “thought outside the box” and suggested that I print out, sign, and scan back a paper version of the application, which I did. So kudos to him. But Zach was my faithful companion throughout the process, my Obi Wan Kenobi, and the reason I selected Payline. He was a pleasure to interact with throughout. I was going to suggest that you promote him immediately to CEO, but if you did then potential customers such as myself wouldn’t have the pleasure of speaking with him. So instead, I’ll suggest that you do your best to keep him where he is for a little while longer — perhaps by quadrupling his pay.

Finally, here are a few suggestions for the company. First, send prospective customers their offer in writing before requiring that they apply. I was surprised to learn that you couldn’t do so, and that I had to proceed to the last page of the application before seeing the actual offer detailing the various fees and such. Second, keep hiring outstanding employees like Zach and his colleague. Third, improve your phone menu. I was never able to enter Zach’s 3-digit extension and successfully reach him. Fourth, go out there and win more of Square’s customers — Square is way overpriced! Fifth, as you grow as a company, remember your roots and your values and take care of your employees and your customers like they were your family members. Google started out with the intention to “never be evil,” but eventually let their quest for domination leak in a modest-sized dose of evil. Don’t make that mistake. Good luck to you. We’re hopeful that we’ll enjoy using your service.

My company has been through multiple credit card processors over the last several years and have never been able to find decent rates (high risk). After reading some reviews I reached out to Payline and ended up working with Jeff Young. He helped out at every step of the process. So happy to finally have a processor with good, flat rates that understands the needs of businesses. Thank you to Jeff and Payline for the smooth transition. A+

  • Miki Harel

I just wanted to thank Jeff Young who assisted us with our Payline account. He was very helpful and informative through the process providing great customer service and helping us chose the best package for our business needs.

  • Ken Allee

I just started a new business here in Florida which is my first business ever so this is all new water for me to try to navigate through. For months now been looking into so many different types of company out there to process credit cards for small business such as myself. For those who are currently in my shoe there are endless amounts of them but through close friends of mine that are successful business people themselves turned me on to Payline Data and I am sure glad they did. I have been working with a guy named Jeff Young from the company and he has literally taken all my concern and worried out of handling transactions of my customers. Before starting this business I was a medically retired Marine that knew 0 % about finance except how to pay my phone bill and now I am 100% confident in running my own business thanks to this company. Now I know this is the internet and some might think I’m fake or I work for Payline but I am 100% real thing so if there is any doubt and you have a small business save yourself some time and hassle because they truly will help you out on the phone and even yesterday did a webinar where this lady showed me step by step how to process cards on my gateway. Best of luck to everyone.

  • John Torkington

We contacted Payline after reading the great reviews on google and were connected with Jeff Young who went above and beyond explaining rates charges and comparisons. After many follow ups and constructive promotions from Jeff we actually decided to go with a different Company which better suited our needs. I would definitely recommend Payline as a reflection of Jeffs professionalism in the whole process.

  • Matthew

I decided to start with another payment processing company for the time being, since my volume of business is still low having just started my business. The Payline Data Representative was very helpful and professional. Jeff Young was honest and thorough with his explanation of the options available through Payline. He was also very friendly and polite. I will likely switch to payline data as my business grows.

  • Sam Schneider

I shopped for a new processor and came across Payline. I called them and spoke with Jeff Young. He was super informative and knowledgeable. I appreciated his honesty and professionalism; something not found in abundance these days. I would recommend Jeff and Payline .

The following statements are to share my recent experience with Payline Data /Zach Dillman (Inside Sales Manager). I have never had a smooth application & activation experience like I just experienced. Zach’s customer service can be defined as, professional, attentive or considerate, and incredibly responsive to all my questions…well answered. I realize I had to provide our necessary company data and pertinent documents, but when there are no hiccups in the process from the merchant account provider, the word “Excellent!” is the hiccup out of my mouth.

  • Paul & Dawna

We have very much enjoyed working with Zach and Payline. He has provided us with excellent service as well as being efficient & responsive in helping us set up our account and answering all our questions and concerns. Thank you for being a fantastic sales representative of Payline. Job well done!

Payline Data attempted to resolve the complaint below via out mediation program but the complainant refused to participate. The company has issued the following response:

“Thank you for providing your feedback. We definitely do not want our customers to feel like they are being lied to or charged fees they do not owe. We invited you to engage in a mediation to try and resolve the issues but we were advised that you would not like to participate.

At Payline, we value transparency with our customers from day one. We believe that this is the best way to start and maintain a relationship with a customer and bring success to all parties involved in the agreement. The experience you describe is not in line with the high standards we hold ourselves to and we always value the opportunity to correct any of these occurrences.

Your message references that you are currently working with someone on our team to resolve your concerns. We hope that this is helping to address any issues that occurred.

    Thank you,

    David Suffolk
    Client Experience Manager”

If you are a small business or seen as “high risk”, DO NOT USE Payline. They will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to sign up and then everything changes. Total bait and switch. Don’t believe that you will actually be signed up for a “simple plan” with no monthly fees because they will find a way to charge you monthly regardless. They also don’t send you statements so you know what you are being charged every month… we found out after 8 months that they had our bank account wrong and were unable to charge us a monthly fee we didn’t think we owed… then WHAM– you get back charged hundreds and hundreds of dollars with no explanation. Customer service is a joke. Everyone will tell you something different and no one really knows what they are talking about. Every part of our experience has been a total nightmare and even after terminating our account, we are still fighting with them about money they say we owe and a refund we never received. For the sake of your sanity, stay far away from this company.

  • Bruce B

I come from a situation where I am transitioning from my 3rd credit card company because of poor customer service and no response to occasional emails. I chose Payline because of the lack of complaints on the web. I encourage anyone searching for company to search “complaints _____” where the blank is the company you think you want. My initial contact with Payline was a bit questionable because they do not provide a phone number to talk to a real person. Rather, you have to enter your email and cell phone info for a call back. That was for me strike one, but I was thrilled with the result. I was contacted within 2 hours from my main man Zach Dillman who solved all my issues and made the transition seamless. He explained the program flawlessly, and when I had strange questions I talked to a supervisor that resolved the issues. For anyone considering coming from another program. I have this to say. The pricing structure is absolutely clean. You know exactly what you will be paying with no hidden surprises. The communication is virtually immediate, which is very important for me. I have a $5 million business and I feel after 3 failed attempts with other companies that I am in the right place.

I had your service for a few months, and I just sold my business. But, I just want to let you know that Kayla has been such an excellent costumer service rep to me. I called her so much for different issues and she was always very helpful and on top of it. I have never experience someone so personal and friendly to help right away.

I thank you and Kayla Muldoon for your service.

I was not very familiar with using the online merchant account, but PayLine made the entire process extremely easy for me. I tried using another merchant account first that was recommended by my wife and they were not honest, they took longer than promised and, only hurt my new business. PayLine was prompt in getting what I need and did everything in a timely manner. With the help of my account manager Tyler Heugly, I was able to get my merchant account exactly the way I needed it. Since the process was new for me, he helped walk me through the entire process. Now my company is thriving and has really taken off faster than expected. Thank you, Tyler Heugly for your professionalism, and great customer Service. I give PayLine an A+

Our company needed an eCommerce solution that was a little out of the ordinary. Zach Dillman worked with us to understand our needs and get our account approved. I am really glad Zach took the time and worked with us. Payline has been there every step of the way, I would recommend to anyone who needs a great payment processor that is easy to work with.

  • Jessica F.

Payline Data is a great company to work with. I have found their staff to be very knowledgeable, patient and eager to help! I would recommend Payline Data and Inside Sales Manager Zach Dillman to anyone looking to process credit cards online. 5 out of 5 stars!

I first contacted Payline Data in February 2016. I did a lot of research and Payline really fit our needs. Zach Dillman was wonderful in helping set up our new Merchant Account. We were very hesitant because of our bad experience with our current provider. Zach was always there to answer my many questions. Explained things thoroughly and was never pushy. We were approved in less than a day. We look forward to working with Payline Data for our processing needs.

  • Danielle B

My experience with Payline has been great. Zach Dillman did a great job with whatever we needed from him, and is always quick to respond to questions. This creates a great relationship between the vendor and customer. We appreciate that, and look forward to working with your company because of the job he’s done thus far.

I have had to contact Payline on various occasions for an assortment of questions/issues. I have had a satisfactory outcome every time. Even when the information being requested or the question being asked isn’t something with a quick answer, they always get back to me in a timely manner and are able to help. I would (and do) recommend them!

I contacted Payline Data to set up my merchant account after doing a lot of research online and reading about their stellar reputation. As a small business owner and first-time merchant account holder I was nervous to make a choice, but when I spoke with Zach he was very helpful, not “salesy” at all – he was just very straightforward and took care of all of my questions and got my account set up in a few easy steps. I did a lot of research before I chose this company and I’m so glad that I did – I know I can trust Zach to help me if I have a problem and I now have one less area of my business that I have to worry about.

  • Ryan Paul

I convinced my new business partners that we should try Payline Data after reading the great reviews. Very costly mistake. On the first week of transactions, third batch, our funding is placed on hold, $3000. We were approved for 36,000k per month, Virtual and Mobile terminals.

We are contacted by a Vantiv Risk Manager asking for more information regarding our transactions. We submitted the information (2 recent invoices). They are unable to reach the customers so they ask for two more invoices, but only after we contact them. Apparently, they need to validate the purchases. Two more days pass and nothing. We send a message to the Sales Rep at Payline and contact Vantiv, nothing. Finally we get a call back stating that our account was flagged for Risk because of a few Yelp reviews, No Joke. They said they would require some additional information.

Me and my new partners recently purchased a photography business/equipment because the last owner lost his wife to cancer and was not able to carry on with the business, in the last month he received a few bad reviews, his loss was not disclosed to the customers. I have worked for him for the past 4 years and he told me that I would be given the opportunity to be a small partner in the new business because of my experience with Event Photography and knowledge of the productive. Prior to the recent bad reviews, the previous company had more that 50 five star reviews. I was stoked about the opportunity. In mid October I met my new Partners, and we started preparing the new Corporation, Bank account was opened Nov 2, we applied to Payline Data on the 5th and were approved on Nov, 9.

We purchased our new web domain on the Nov 3rd and hired a web development team on the 4th. We decided to keep the CRM (customer management system) with the old website, because it worked well, but in the interim we were given a few accounts to complete along with the website in order to maintain repeat business with more than a few thousand customers in the system, He also gave us the 800 number so that we can re-service existing customers. Our new website is scheduled for completion in early Dec. We decided to keep the site until the transition was completed, by then we could send our customers notice of the change and New Business name. The old company had serviced more than 3000 customers, there is no reason to dismiss the many great, happy customers for the the very few unhappy recent customers. The truth is the previous owner really had no strength or focus on the business.

After a very stressful conversation with the Vantiv Rep today, he insults my new partner, who has a slight accent and asks him if he knows anything about the business, he has no idea why funds are being held and is new to the business. I finally interject and ask him what he requires to release the funds. He said he needs, Bank Statements, previous Processing Statements or Business Financials. Ok , 1. The account was open on the 3rd, we expressed this was a brand new Corp with new Partners in the under-writing and to the Payline Rep. 2. We can not just ask the previous owner for Processing Financial as we purchased the equipment and not the Business Name or previous Corp and Financials, he just gave us the website and 800 number for marketing as he had no use for it. 3. Again, this is a new business with no financial history and we explained this to the Sales rep with Payline and the Risk Rep with Vantiv, who interrogated us as if we were morons for buying the equipment and keeping the website and phone number. Again the previous business had serviced thousands of customers so there was no need to scrap the data in the CRM. This month alone we have received more than $8,000 in orders from repeat business for the holidays.

Vantiv is offering very little flexibility as we are a New Corp attempting catch momentum of an existing model. Today the rep expressed that Vantiv needs us to have financials to cover potential exposure. After much convincing, one of my partners agreed to fund our Merchant Bank account with $25,000.00 to suffice the financials, currently Vantiv is holding $3000.00 and ceased our processing. Our options were to refund all our customers for all 3 batches (total $7000.00) or wait 6 months for the $3000.00 to be released. Shouldn’t all of this nonsense been explained in under-writing process and application? We applied with a new Corp and all new officers, it’s absurd that they are calculating risk off of 5 bad reviews out of a total of 65 five star Yelp reviews, not including the 20+ reviews on Wedding Wire.

Tomorrow I am advised to submit the Business Statement with the account funded with $25,000.00 as of today, proof that the Corp was formed in mid Oct, and the account was opened on the 2nd and the new website domain was purchased on the 3rd. I was also given an invoice for the Purchase of the equipment which was finalized on Nov 10th.

The Good – The sign up was easy and the rep told us we’d have no issues.
The Bad – The product is dated and ugly, funding is 2 business days, the support via email is non existent. No responses from the sales rep or the support email.

Just like Clint stated, the Payline Pep pressured us to complete the app get started.

This a very honest situation, I will update this review shortly with the results. I hope this post is not discarded, I will be placing this on every review site possible and reporting Vantiv and Payline Data to Consumer Reports and the BBB. I do not recommend Payline Data to anyone. Horrible service!

We switched to Payline after a horrific nightmare experience with ipayment. Payline had us up and running in 48 hours, walked us through everything and payments post to our bank account within just a couple days. Could not be happier! Their customer service is fast, responsive and extremely helpful. Love this company

Payline Data has saved us multiple times over the past 5 years. iTOK.net has grown from a 50 person shop to over 400 within the time we have worked with Payline. Revenues and and the complexities of system integrations have continued to grow. I’m extremely pleased to say Payline has been by our side the whole way. The staff at Payline from the front line to the CEO are extremely responsive and proactive. I can’t say enough good things about Payline.

iTOK.net is a large company in a difficult industry for merchant service companies to support. Payline is the only processor we have and continue to have confidence in.

I was in a panic mode when I first started working with Payline! Thank goodness I was assigned to Zach Dillman, he went above and beyond to answer all my many questions with assurance and professionalism that things would work out and they certainly have! Payline is a great company to work with because of employees like Zach with the initial set up and Buffy Ensing with continuing support. Payline is certainly a company I hope to have a long term relationship with.

Thank you so much for sharing your comments with us here,

Our team reviewed your concerns and researched your account. After this research we have found that you have selected our Payline Simple plan. We have all pricing details available for you here on our website: .

Your statement is accurate and you paid only $84 in fees for the $3547.04 in processing. This is a net effective rate of only 2.3% which is very low and competitive. In review this is a significant savings from your previous Elavon account.

As you may be aware, EMV technology is becoming required in the United States, and all merchants will have to switch to a terminal that can accept these Chip & Pin cards by October in order to comply. We apologize that this is an inconvenience for you and will be happy to assist with this transition. It appears from your comments that you were not aware of that, and we want to make this right. Please contact us at 800-284-7401 or email at [email protected] and we will make sure to get your account processing securely.

    Thank you again,

I used square card reader and had the worst experience ever trust me that they will take your money then close your account so you can’t call them and when you try to refund it will say that it can not be refunded …..if you want live support and questions answered quickly then pay line will fit your business plan. But please find out for your self.God bless!

    Hello,

This message is in regards to the service I experienced with Payline. Our firm met Payline in Chicago to discuss the issues that we were having with our current provider, Intuit. We had been overcharged for a very long time but stuck with them due to the integration into Quickbooks. We made the decision to switch to Payline and our first month saved over $300! Not only that I found out that they have an integration with their gateway and we did not lose any functionality.

I love how friendly and open the staff was. They told me what fees I would pay and that is what I saw. Great to find a local company with integrity.

Thank you for sharing your concerns and feedback regarding our company on this forum. We do apologize that you have not have a positive experience with our company regarding your account that was approved 04/29/2015.

It is never our intention to create a situation where a merchant is unhappy, however it is also our responsibility to properly handle risk and management of our merchant accounts. After this account was approved we monitored and noticed that over 80% of all attempted charges were declined. At this point the merchants bank account was also overdrawn, which caused an alert to be sent to us from their bank. These instances were in breach of our credit standards and did force us to close this account.

If you have any further questions, please follow up directly through the existing communication channels that have been in place. We hope that you are able to find a solution that better fits your business needs.

Our sincere apologies go out to Rick for the experience he had with our company. We strive for a world-class experience with all of our customers, and in this case we clearly missed that mark.

Upon learning of these issues we did speak with the client and walked him through the AVS & security options available to him within our gateway. During this time he exhibited patience with us and allowed us to close out this issue.

This is not indicative of the experience our customers regularly have with us, and we are using this example as a tool to find out where we may need to gain additional training or resources to ensure this is never repeated.

We wish him all the best.

    Thank you

Cody, I am not sure if you are happy or complaining about $99.00/year ($8.25/month) PCI compliance fee. ???

The processor charges a PCI compliance fee and also provides compliance support.

A PCI fee is legitimate and even beneficial to a business if the processor provides compliance support and the fee charged for the support is reasonable.

Navigating PCI compliance is confusing and time consuming — especially for e-commerce businesses. In light of this, many processors provide support to help businesses navigate the perils of PCI compliance such as self-assessment questionnaires and quarterly network vulnerability scans.

If the PCI fee charged for such support is reasonable, it is often less than a business person would pay if she were to navigate PCI on her own.

For example, a legitimate PCI fee would be something in the area of $70-$120 a year, or about $6-$10 a month for compliance support involving scans and assistance completing compliance questionnaires. The PCI fee may be greater or less depending on the level of support the processor provides.

We became a Payline Data merchant in April 2012 and have never regretted the change over from our bank. The fees were much lower and the integration was seamless. As a non-profit, 98% of our donors make their monthly donations using their credit cards. It is so easy to set up monthly recurring transactions and access the reports I need. If I need any help at all, customer service is a phone call away and I’m actually able to speak to a live person. Payline Data believes in giving back and donates a portion of their profits to qualified non-profits designated by their merchants. As Liberty Road Foundation is qualified to received these donations, we are doubly blessed not only by Payline Data’s low merchant fees but by their large quarterly donations to us for the furthering of our mission to help at-risk kids and their families. Thank you, Payline Data, for welcoming us into the Payline family.

I typically do not write testimonials, not because I am too lazy…but I just very seldom feel the irresistible desire to put my thoughts on paper for the rest of the world to see; or encourage someone to take a leap of faith to experience the same type of service I know exists! I recall once, having the most delicious meal of my life; at the time it felt strange asking to speak to the chef, but I was overwhelmed with satisfaction, and he needed to know!!

Dealing with Ryan Abramovic at Payline has me just as satisfied and I feel just as strongly that he, and others, should know about the service you can have with Payline!! From the very first moment of contact, Ryan has been amazing to work with! It seems crazy how it all unfolded; Our company had been approached by another cc processing company at a trade show promising they were the best out there to reduce the rates our company was currently paying; however, everything about it felt wrong, pressured, and sketchy. I tried to ignore that “gut” feeling and proceeded to fill out the merchant application – ultimately…Business is business and I was being shown the thousands of dollars we could be save each month – so what had me so conflicted? I had the application signed and ready to fax over, yet I couldn’t get the feeling that I was about to get into the water with sharks!!

Our main goal was to find a way to save $$ on our outrageous credit card processing fees , most of which were on our statement in a way that we didn’t even know what we were being billed for! I am glad I took a second to breathe and listen to my gut! In doing so, I found Payline and within minutes, Ryan was there to throw out a life ring and save me from the “bloodied waters”!

From the very first email through the application process and getting our account transferred over, to a few additional questions, Ryan has been amazing!! I truly cannot express enough how fantastic he is or how genuine this company is! I also had the brief pleasure of working with Jake Siebert who took the time to find the right payment gateway for our company, staying on the phone to walk me through the entire process to switch it over!

I could probably go on and on, but I think you should take my review for what it is worth and give the guys a call over at Payline. Discover firsthand how in our competitive world, there are companies like Payline that still exist with a vision to change an industry through honesty and ethical business practices!

    – Amber :)

After a long search, we went with Payline and discovered that everything that Ryan Abramovich said was true! He always responded quickly to my many questions and their overall fees were far less than nearly every other merchant processor.
We used Payline for several months but eventually had to switch because we have a large amount of recurring customer sales of different amounts and the virtual terminal was not able to let us do these types of sales quickly. Otherwise we definitely would have stayed.
You really can’t go wrong with choosing Payline.

I am not an employee of Payline nor am I related in any way, shape or form to them.

    Hi,

I created an ecommerce site for electronic cigarette products, and I would like to use Paytrace as my payment gateway. Does your merchant service allow sales of electronic cigarettes? If so, would I be able to use Paytrace with your merchant service?

  • Rory O'Connor

Jake Siebert is terrific, and the customer service from this company is unreal! too much! AFTER 9 months of Global Pay, Hell would be better!! However, when I checked out what seemed to be a little steeper rates, they amounted to a WHOPPING $.03 for each transaction more!! OMG! I thought, why didn’t I google the “10 best on line gateway/merchant services companies” (they have both, and rule both, which is the guise I was pulled into with 2 other companies I unfortunately went with, and THEY DID NOT HAVE BOTH!!!!!!!!!)

Anyway, Mr. Jacob Siebert was a true gentleman, until he, and his pals, discovered that i was a major on line thief, and I am writing you this note from a penitentery in Mexico!! Naw, see their rating, as # one, and A+!! What more do you want??

Use this gang, and “Everything weeeell beeee cooool Mon!!” Now, you can get some sleep tonight!!

    Rory…Super sleuth…

Also, Rick Fox, here above me, claims ignorance, and me too, and like you, Rick, we were overwhelmed with fees from the second they turned on the switch, for much higher rates, bills in mail 16 days after auto withdrawl on biz account, chargebacks, that were mistakes, and customers more than happy, phone set up in Paraguay, zero brained I T team, 45 minute wait to customer service line, lost calls, want more?? not tonight!!! Bee coool..Mister FOX!!

We originally used intuit to process credit cards when we started our company. After 4 years of never looking at our bills we were approached by Payline. We were amazed to find that even as a small company we saved over $5,000/year in credit cards by switching. Plus their gateway integrated into quickbooks so I did not have to change any of my accounting.

    Amazing!!

  • Rick Fox

We are new to credit card processing for our website (had been done via a third party previously). We signed up with a providor (PowerPay) BEFORE we discovered your website. We had a terrible experience with monthly fees before we ever started processing payments. Our fault- we didn;t knwo what we were doing and we failed to read the 4 point font on their lengthy contract. Through your site, we discovered Payline Data. What a great experience! They explained things in terms we can understand, they helped us find an appropriate plan, coordinate our change with Authorize.net, and all this great service came with lower fees! They have been refreshingly honest, amazingly helpful and will save us hundreds of dollars. I can’t recommed Payline highly enough.
