Clean Complaint Record

Aside from the 1 posted to its BBB profile, we are unable to locate any negative PaymentVision reviews at this time, so the company is probably not a scam or a ripoff. We did find two user complaints filed against Autoscribe, but these were over seven years old and will therefore not be factored into this review. PaymentVision’s clean complaint record is an enviable one for a company that has been in operation since 1988, and we take it as solid proof that the vast majority of the company’s clients are satisfied with the service they receive.

PaymentVision Payment Systems Lawsuits

We have not found any outstanding class-action lawsuits or FTC complaints filed against PaymentVision. Dissatisfied merchants who wish to pursue a non-litigious course of action against the company should consider reporting it to the relevant supervisory organizations.

PaymentVision Customer Service Options

PaymentVision supplies phone support numbers on its website for all merchants, and these support lines appear to operate at a level comparable to top-rated credit card processors for customer service.

We have located multiple PaymentVision customer service numbers:

(800) 345-7243 – Toll-Free General Customer Service and Sales
(301) 987-0700 – Office Number

PaymentVision offers a customer support form on its website and an e-mail at [email protected]

Potentially Competitive Pricing

There is not a great deal of publicly available information about the standard PaymentVision contract at this time. The company does not disclose its pricing or the name of its credit card processor, so it’s difficult to determine what its potential costs might be. The PaymentVision website claims that there are no application fees, setup fees, or early termination fees through the company, so it’s possible that it offers competitive pricing and contract terms.

No Contract Complaints

Given the total absence of complaints related to PaymentVision’s costs and fees, we will assign the company an “A” rating in this category for the time being. Merchants are always urged to read all contract terms before signing and to negotiate for the best rates and lowest fees (see: “Fee Sweep“). If you have any knowledge of the standard PaymentVision contract (including any monthly minimum fees or PCI compliance fees), please share that information in the comment section below this review.

No Sales Complaints

PaymentVision appears to market itself primarily through conventional advertising methods and strategic partnerships. There is no evidence at this time that the company engages in “hiring mill” tactics or aggressive telemarketing campaigns, and we cannot find any PaymentVision complaints that accuse the company’s sales team of deception.

No Deceptive Quotes

PaymentVision also does not advertise any misleading rate quotes or guarantees on its website. In light of its clean complaint record, we are awarding the company an “A” in this category. If you suspect, however, that PaymentVision is overcharging you, you can double-check your monthly bill with a third-party statement audit.

Our Final Thoughts and Opinions

A Reputable Processing Option

PaymentVision rates as a great merchant services provider according to all available information. The company has maintained a nearly pristine online complaint record for more than two decades and does not engage in advertising strategies that we consider to be unethical. Even when dealing with companies that rate highly by our standards, we encourage merchants to carefully examine the terms of any contract they are given and to compare its pricing to the top overall payment processors.
