Despite being in business for over 20 years, we have only been able to find 2 negative Vantage Card Services reviews from merchants about Vantage Card Services. One Vantage Card Services complaint was left in this review and suggests that Vantage is turning away new merchants or possibly out of business, but no other sources support this assertion. It is possible that the company does deny some applications for industry-standard reasons. The other Vantage Card Services complaint was left by a merchant who detailed issues with their credit card terminal and found the company’s customer service unhelpful in their pursuit of a resolution to the issue. If you have your own Vantage Card Services review to make, please do so in the comments below.
We have not found any outstanding class-action lawsuits or FTC complaints filed against Vantage. Dissatisfied merchants who wish to pursue a non-litigious course of action against the company should consider reporting it to the relevant supervisory organizations.
Vantage offers live phone support during its business hours as well as after-hours phone support through TSYS and Global Payments. Given the company’s clean complaint record, it appears that these channels do a more-than-adequate job of resolving merchant complaints in-house.

Cancellation Penalties | None |
Monthly & Annual Fees | Unknown |
Processing Rates | Interchange Plus |
PCI Compliance Fee | Undisclosed |
Equipment Lease Terms | 48 Month (locked) |
According to the standard Vantage Card Services contract, Vantage Card Services offers a month-to-month contract through TSYS or Global Payments with no early termination fees and an interchange-plus pricing model. These terms are usually the most competitive options available for merchants, although we do not know the company’s specific rates and fees at this time. The contract does detail equipment leasing through Global Payments, which is a non-cancelable agreement lasting for 48 months.
There are no public Vantage Card Services complaints about the company’s contract terms, so it’s reasonable to assume that Vantage usually delivers on the promise of its advertisements. Additionally, Vantage advises merchants to purchase rather than lease equipment, which we agree is good advice in nearly all cases. Overall, Vantage’s sales copy and the statements it makes about its contract terms suggest that it deserves an “A” rating in this section. If you have any specific knowledge of the standard Vantage contract (including any PCI compliance fees or monthly minimum fees), please share that information in the comment section below this review.

Employs Independent Resellers | No |
Advertises Deceptive Rates | No |
Discloses All Important Terms | No |
Vantage appears to utilize a combination of strategic partnerships, traditional advertising, and field agents to market its services. There is no indication that the company employs a large staff of independently contracted sales agents, and we cannot find any Vantage Card Services reviews that describe deceptive sales tactics by the company’s agents. In fact, the Vantage website includes a great deal of useful information for merchants, including a warning against long-term contracts with early termination fees and an explanation of tiered pricing versus interchange-plus pricing.
In general, the company appears to place an emphasis on fair, transparent marketing tactics. We have therefore assigned it an “A” rating in this category. However, if you suspect that Vantage is overcharging you, you can double-check your monthly bill with a third-party statement audit.
Vantage Card Services rates as an exemplary merchant services provider according to all available information. The company enjoys a low complaint record across all consumer protection sites and appears to promote transparency in its sales practices. Our rating for Vantage may be subject to change once more information is available about its contract terms. For now, merchants are encouraged to compare the company’s pricing to that offered by the top-rated merchant accounts in order to obtain the best possible deal.

Worst company ever!
A major glitch in their system. After swiping a clients debit card 5xs realized vantage was dealing with an issue on their end! Those charges are authorized on their end but not processed. I have zero record on my batch. So they are sitting in the cloud somewhere. This happened Tuesday 3/28 and I was offered zero assistance and I had to refund my clients money out of my own pocket. Still waiting for the charges to drop off and vantage to take full responsibility. Also cards that are manually entered go through and vantage will not be refunding the higher fee for manually entering. Once this situation is resolved I will no longer be working with vantage and I recommend you look elsewhere

Because this company was listed as a top company, I gave them a call. I wanted to use their services and was told by the person answering the call that they weren’t interested in working with me and then hung up on me. Very strange. i called back and said “I am curious as to why you are not interested” got some vague answers and I asked if I could talk to a sales person. She said they don’t have any right now. In other words, they don’t seem to be a going concern from my perspective. Don’t bother to talk to them. i rate them a 1!
