NFC (Near Field Communication) terminals enable contactless payments, allowing customers to simply tap their card or mobile device to complete a transaction.
Tablet Point-of-Sale Systems
Tablet point-of-sale (POS) systems offer a flexible and modern solution for businesses looking to manage sales and customer interactions in a more mobile and versatile way. These systems use tablets as the primary interface, allowing for easy mobility around the store or service area. Tablet POS systems are equipped with features such as inventory management, sales tracking, and customer relationship management.
Mobile Payment Solutions
Mobile payment solutions provide businesses with the ability to accept payments anywhere, offering unparalleled convenience for both merchants and customers. These solutions typically include portable card readers that connect to smartphones or tablets, enabling businesses to process transactions on the go. Over its 20-plus years in business, only two negative Vantage Card Services reviews have been located. Month-to-Month Contract
Vantage Card Services, through partnerships with TSYS and Global Payments, provides a flexible month-to-month contract featuring an interchange-plus pricing model. This structure is often viewed favorably by merchants for its transparency, although specific rates and fees are not disclosed. The agreement also mentions equipment leasing through Global Payments, which entails a non-cancelable 48-month term.
No Contract Complaints
The absence of public complaints regarding Vantage Card Services’ contract terms suggests a positive merchant experience, aligning with the company’s promotional materials. Vantage recommends that merchants purchase equipment outright instead of leasing, advice that aligns with industry best practices for cost efficiency. Given this guidance and the lack of negative feedback on its contract terms, Vantage is rated highly in this area. Merchants with direct experience regarding Vantage’s fees, including PCI compliance or monthly minimums, are encouraged to contribute their insights in the comments section.
Vantage appears to utilize a combination of strategic partnerships, traditional advertising, and field agents to market its services. There is no indication that the company employs a large staff of independently contracted sales agents, and we cannot find any Vantage Card Services reviews that describe deceptive sales tactics by the company’s agents. In fact, the Vantage website includes a great deal of useful information for merchants, including a warning against long-term contracts with early termination fees and an explanation of tiered pricing versus interchange-plus pricing.
No Red Flags
In general, the company appears to place an emphasis on fair, transparent marketing tactics. We have therefore assigned it an “A” rating in this category. However, if you suspect that Vantage is overcharging you, you can double-check your monthly bill with a third-party statement audit.

A major glitch in their system. After swiping a clients debit card 5xs realized vantage was dealing with an issue on their end! Those charges are authorized on their end but not processed. I have zero record on my batch. So they are sitting in the cloud somewhere. This happened Tuesday 3/28 and I was offered zero assistance and I had to refund my clients money out of my own pocket. Still waiting for the charges to drop off and vantage to take full responsibility. Also cards that are manually entered go through and vantage will not be refunding the higher fee for manually entering. Once this situation is resolved I will no longer be working with vantage and I recommend you look elsewhere

Because this company was listed as a top company, I gave them a call. I wanted to use their services and was told by the person answering the call that they weren’t interested in working with me and then hung up on me. Very strange. i called back and said “I am curious as to why you are not interested” got some vague answers and I asked if I could talk to a sales person. She said they don’t have any right now. In other words, they don’t seem to be a going concern from my perspective. Don’t bother to talk to them. i rate them a 1!
