APS Merchant Services Customer Reviews
Here's What Their Clients Say
Total Online Complaints | <10 |
---|---|
Live Customer Support | Yes |
Most Common Complaint | N/A |
At the time of this update, we are unable to locate any complaints accusing APS of being a scam or a ripoff. The company appears to outsource its customer service and tech support to Elavon, which may result in some APS complaints being funneled to Elavon’s online profiles. Overall, though, the total absence of any negative APS reviews indicates that the company’s sales team does not mislead its clients in the first place and makes an effort to educate merchants on how to reach an Elavon representative. Despite the fact that Elavon is not known for quality customer service, a spotless complaint record compels us to award APS an “A” in this category.

A Closer Look at The Contract
Swiped Rate | Variable |
---|---|
Keyed-in Rate | Variable |
Early Termination Fee | None |
PCI Compliance Fee | Variable |
Equipment Lease Terms | Variable |
There is not a lot of information available about the standard APS contract, but the company’s partnership with Elavon makes it very likely that the standard APS contract resembles the standard Elavon contract. Elavon typically offers a three-year agreement with no early termination fee and monthly PCI compliance fees ranging from $29 to $59. There is a strong chance, however, that APS is authorized to alter some of these provisions as it deems necessary. Terms will likely vary depending on a merchant’s size and time in business. Overall, the absence of complaints about APS’s contract terms seems to indicate that most merchants are satisfied with their agreements.

This company is the biggest scam I have ever come across. A man came in to my store and offered me their services, I told him I was leaving on vacation. So the salesman proceed to sign me up, send me a machine, take hundreds of dollars from my account and send me to collections multiple times after sending their unused machine back. I never even signed any paperwork or did any transactions with them and they continue to send me to collections every month. I wish this company never stepped foot in my business and the hassle they have put me through will forever haunt me.
