Erply Review

We take our role in providing guidance and education regarding the card payment industry very seriously. At our own expense, we have vigorously defended our right to continue expose unethical and predatory practices in the industry, successfully defeating every attempt to silence us. However, fending off frivolous lawsuits is costly. To sustain these efforts, one of the ways we generate revenue is through affiliate partnerships with ethical providers. This means that some of our outgoing links connect business owners to trustworthy, low-cost payment processors, which is what most of our readers seek. We see this revenue channel as a win-win-win for everyone involved. Business owners find good processors, processors get good clients, and we are able to continue to provide a valuable service to the small business community. We also recommend and link to many services that do not compensate us. Our priority is to guide you to the best solutions for your needs, regardless of potential revenue. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us.

All mentions of rate and fee costs are estimations based on publicly available information and client feedback. Actual costs may vary based on a variety of factors unique to your business.

A POS Solution Backed By Worldpay and TSYS

Erply provides a POS solution for merchant accounts that can be either cloud-based or installed locally. This allows the software to function in both online and offline modes, unlike other POS systems that require an active internet connection to function. Although data is stored via cloud connectivity, the software's main features can be used offline. According to the company's website, Erply relies on Cayan, WorldPay, and TSYS for its payment processing. Rates and fees associated with those payment processors come in addition to those Erply charges for its POS solution. Erply designs its software to cater to the needs of retail merchants. However, the company also makes POS solutions that suit coffee shops, grocery stores, and other large inventory merchants. Extensive inventory tools are at the core of the POS in respect to its targeted demographic. Erply works for small to mid-sized and larger businesses. The company offers different plans depending on the size and scope of business. Those plans include a range of features such as inventory, sales, and multi-store management tools.

Depending on whether a merchant uses Cayan, TSYS or WorldPay for its processing, the company relies on either US Bank, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Walnut Creek, California or through Global Payments or Fidelity National Information Services, the company that own TSYS and WorldPay, respectively.  Kris Hiiemaa is listed as the company's CEO.
