UPDATE 1/9/2019: GlobalCollect has been acquired by Ingenico and merged with Ingenico Payment Services to create Ingenico ePayments. The GlobalCollect brand appears to have been almost completely phased out; the company’s URL is still active but the website otherwise bears Ingenico ePayments branding. See our Ingenico ePayments review for up-to-date information about this company.

|Total Online Complaints||<10|
|Live Customer Support||Yes|
|Most Common Complaint||N/A|
We are currently able to locate seven GlobalCollect negative reviews, none of which accuse the company of being a ripoff or a scam. Three complainants report unauthorized charges, software issues, and privacy concerns with some products offered by GlobalCollect. None of these complainants express trouble with GlobalCollect’s merchant services. The remaining four complaints were posted by employees of the company who described disorganization, internal strife, and issues with customer service. Since there are currently zero complaints about the company posted by merchants with small business-related issues, we have not lowered the company’s score in this category. The GlobalCollect website offers an email form for merchants to contact the company as well as phone numbers for its different offices.

GlobalCollect Fees, Rates & Costs
A Closer Look at The Contract
|Early Termination Fee||Variable|
|PCI Compliance Fee||Variable|
|Equipment Lease Terms||Variable|
There is very little specific information available about the standard GlobalCollect contract. The company does not advertise specific rates and fees on its website, and there are no publicly available merchant complaints that reveal details about the company’s terms. Given the apparent size and international scope of the company, it is likely that GlobalCollect is capable of offering a broad range of services, rates, and fees. Merchants are encouraged to carefully read their agreements in order to understand the length of their contracts and whether they will be charged early termination fees, PCI Compliance fees, monthly minimum fees, or other fees. If you have any knowledge of the standard GlobalCollect contract, please leave that information in the comment section of this review.
GlobalCollect Employee Reviews & Sales Tacitcs
Should You Work For Them?
|Employs Independent Resellers||No|
|Advertises Deceptive Rates||No|
|Discloses All Important Terms||No|
GlobalCollect appears to rely on its website, its global network of clients, and traditional advertising to market its services. There is no indication at this time that the company partners with sub-ISOs or independent sales agents. We are currently unable to locate any GlobalCollect reviews that accuse the company’s sales department of unethical conduct, and the company does not appear to engage in any deceptive advertising strategies in its official materials. We will accordingly award it an “A+” rating in this category for the time being.
