    CONSUMER BEWARE !!

    It starts with your “phone call” to ABC Global Systems inquiring about services.

    Note: DO NOT SIGN any contract based on verbal promises.

    My sales Representative, DERWIN WILLIAMS was actually very, very nice on the phone. Warning.. He will verbally promise you things. *!* Get it in writing or you WILL BE sorry. I regret trusting him ! Beware..

    If the application doesn’t have everything promised “in writing”
    GET IT CHANGED before signing.
    ***DO NOT TRUST THEM !! *** they are not honorable. Darwin will not stand by his word!!

    Their practice is as follows..

    * initial phone conversation*
    You will be asked general questions about your business. Then the pricing fun begins.. I was initially quoted a monthly service fee of $30 per month. I said No!
    I felt it was high and more than I wanted to spend. How about $15 per month? Try it for three months and if you don’t like our service you can walk away. I said No! He’s very personable and will keep trying to convince you. After telling him I was inclined to use a pay per swipe service Darwin promised me service at $10 per month and if I’m not happy we simply part ways. You would assume the verbal agreement is what you would receive. NOT!! Don’t become a victim.. They have a gimmick!
    There are two important documents.

    The ***APPLICATION CONTRACT***
    with SOME fees listed.
    AND the …
    ***EQUIPMENT CONTRACT***.

    *****Keep reading and you’ll catch on..*****

    At this point our verbal agreement is for $10 per month! If I’m not happy I walk away!

    In order to process credit cards you will need a card reader. They will offer you their free equipment program.
    ***This is where they scam you!! ***
    DO NOT SIGN IT!!

    I questioned Derwin regarding the fees listed on it and was verbally assured I would only pay the $10 service fee agreed on.

    Regardless of what they promise you.. by signing the (free equipment offer) you will be bound by the $30 monthly service fee plus $7.50 compliance fees listed on the free equipment agreement. It supersedes any other agreement made. They will tell you it’s a standard form for the equipment and that you will be charged what was agreed on. GET THE AMOUNTS LISTED CHANGED BEFORE SIGNING. It’s how they get you!

    Look at your Application Contract! The Monthly service fees, annual fees and closure fees you would want to know are left blank. It’s on purpose so that by signing the free equipment order you become bound by the new terms. Protect yourself and only sign the free equipment offer if the fees listed on the application match what you were expecting.
    Do not trust that they will be charging you the amount verbally agreed on!!

    ACH debits appear without ABC GLOBAL as the source .. the first month I didn’t question the charges. I should have!! The second month I did and learned the charges were from ABC Global. I call Derwin and he assured me it was a mistake and he would fix it. I get an email from Ana Bota their chargeback analyst saying that I agreed to a $30 per month service fee and $7.50 compliance fee. What!!! No we didn’t.
    We debate the claim thru several emails. Rather than honor the verbal agreement I was forced to accept a 6 month credit rather than the refund I asked for. I was told the best they would do is honor the $10 per month service fee and reduce the compliance fees to $5.50. I agreed.. mistake!

    A year later and another ACH charge but this time for $89. When I ask Why? it’s the Annual Fee.
    My Application Contract had no amount listed for annual fee ..on purpose? At the back.. of the last page of my monthly statement is a “small print” note saying $89 annual fees due in November.. and that’s how you get stolen from. Imho.. Run from this company. 😖😖😖🤑🤭🤭🤭🤦‍♂️🤜👈

    DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH ABC GLOBAL!!!

    First off they came out by saying they would only charge $30 a month and the equipment was free!!! This receiving my equipment and got charged $69 for shipping. Then all of a sudden a fee for this and a fee for that was being taken out of my acct to which the never even said was going to happen. Was told from the get-go $30 a month and no contract. In turn customers were being charged a service fee which they never said was going to happen either thus i would have never signed with them to begin with because I could stay right where I was with square and have it for FREE!!! Never did end up making a transaction as I realized it wasn’t going to work for my company and they wouldn’t take NO for an answer and kept hounding and hounding they could make it better and I insisted that it was best for me to stay where I was. So I ended up canceling and then get charged $495 to cancel which again they never said was the case as it a no contract agreement and the equipment was returned!!! Definitely need to teach there sales better and get their story straight instead of ripping people off.

    After fulfilling a 3 year contract with ABC, They slapped my with an early termination fee of $495. Yes, I gave them notice in the 90 days prior.. They are also taking out $22.50 for compliance fee every month even now, in June, July , and Aug, well after my cancellation. I gave them an opportunity to beat VMS fees, but with the $22.50 and $10.50 they took out of my bank every month, they could not beat it.

    Beware all Business people this company is a joke they are running a circus operation and with our money they can go into our bank Account at will this is risky with a funny company like this maybe a fly by night company etc they charge you multiple hidden fees each month they don’t answer the phone a lot of the times when they do that the person you need to talk to is not in right now they play many games like little children they cannot be trusted especially with our money they are very rude/nasty they will hold your money for over a week a lot of the times sometimes 3 weeks maybe their loaning our money to some one in a cash advance type of system and making interest while we wait to get paid etc you their a real bad company you have been so Warned do not do business here your regret it ?

    here’s how to beat this fraudulent company: when you cancel your “contract” with them, IMMEDIATELY (AS IN RIGHT THE HECK NOW) close the bank account where the credit card payments are received. pick a day to cancel when you have few or no charges, call the thieves, cancel, and CLOSE your account. they won’t be able to hit you with a chargeback. instruct the bank to refuse requests from the thieves.

      Interesting. Our accounts have been closed since February 2015. ABC has held our reserve funds since then and has yet to give a date when they will be released. On top of that they continued to charge us a monthly fee for nearly a year for accounts that were not open. The only way were able to stop the fees from being deducted was to close the accounts. When we asked about refunding the fees they took we were told they would review it and get back to us. Do you think they got back to us? Nope. As of today we are still waiting to find out when they will release our reserve funds.

    I can’t believe there are so many positive comments on this site. Others replicate my dissatisfaction. This company is the biggest rip off., they make it almost impossible to cancel even after your contract expires.
    They continue to charge vendors even after you return their unit certified received receipt and will continue to bill you fees knowing you are no longer under contract and not using their services.
    In 10 years of business this is the most unethical company I have ever dealt with.

    My experience is similar to the above comment by L. laVigna except my fees are even higher!

      Dear Lori,
      Your case sounds like the credit card terminal was returned but there was no written notice of authorization from the account owner to have the account terminate. When you wish to cancel, there are detail cancellation instructions that would be sent to you which will instruct you that a written notice must be given as well. This is also apart in your Merchant Agreement when you signed up.
      You can also cancel the agreement by submitting a 90 days notice prior to the end of the current term. If any client provide us with valid proof that a request was sent to cancel the account or a 90 days notice was sent, we will be more than happy to refund any funds charged after the date of cancellation on the notice.

    NEVER NEVER NEVER make the mistake of switching to ABC GLOBAL SYSTEMS. They flat out LIE about everything.
    Don’t give them access to your bank account or you’ll do so at your extreme peril. They promised me in writing, $2250.00 of ‘refunds from overcharges’, from previous providers. When I called to get more clarification I was given no direct information, even though they had 6 months of my statements from my current provider. They would not explain how they arrived at the $2250.00 number nor which charges they deemed as ‘overcharges’. I checked with the Better Business Bureau and they rate them a D, for unresolved cases. I was intending to switch due to the promise of money back, but I soon realized that this was a sales pitch and i had really no recourse to get the ‘refund’/ Besides, I check my statements monthly, and never found the errors which would contribute to that figure.

    After seven years of doing business with ABC I closed my account only to be hit with a termination fee of $260. When calling to speak with them I was told I could only email the department and nobody would speak with me. I have no recourse and would NEVER reccomend this vendor to anyone!
    7yrs of business and they will not even pick up the phone, horrible business practices!! Makes you wonder why they are NOT even an accreddited Business with the BBB!

      The $260 is for the remaining terms of your agreement. ABC Global provides live representives during business hours (Mon to Fri, from 9am to 5:30pm) and there is always a representative to answer questions. We do have highly qualified and well train staff who can answer any of your questions and complains when you called.
      However, If a 90 days notice was presented and valid proof of this is provided, we will be more than happy to refund this amount.
