SMB Global Customer Reviews

Here's What Their Clients Say

Customer Reviews Summary
Total Online Complaints <10

Most Common Complaint N/A

Low Complaint Total

At present, we’ve found only one negative review of SMB Global, indicating that the company is unlikely to be a scam or a ripoff. This particular review mentions SMB Global’s refusal to create an account for a company with over 14% of its sales volume from international sources. Given that SMB Global is relatively new to the market, its limited complaint count might be due to its small merchant base. However, it’s worth noting that high-risk providers often attract more complaints due to their practice of holding merchant funds. If you have your own feedback or complaint about SMB Global, feel free to share it in the comments below.

High-Risk Contracts Can Vary

Details on the standard SMB Global contract are not readily available for public review. The company’s specific contract terms, including pricing structures, remain undisclosed on its website, and there are no merchant reports specifying contract details.

SMB Global, like other high-risk merchant service providers, likely tailors its pricing and contract terms to each merchant’s specific situation, including business type, operational history, and transaction volume. This customized approach may involve tiered pricing, with different rates applied based on qualified, mid-qualified, and non-qualified transactions, reflecting the merchant’s risk profile and other relevant factors such as credit history. High-risk merchants are generally expected to encounter higher per-transaction fees and might need to agree to a rolling reserve as part of their account setup.

No News Is Good News

For businesses in high-risk categories, providers such as SMB Global may offer the only viable merchant account solutions. However, competitive terms can still be achieved through effective negotiation. The absence of merchant complaints regarding SMB Global’s pricing suggests a general satisfaction with the contractual rates and fees. Any individuals with insights into the specifics of SMB Global’s standard contract terms, especially regarding early termination fees or PCI compliance fees, are encouraged to contribute information in the comments section of this review.

ISOs Done Right

SMB Global appears to market its services primarily through ISOs, independent agents, referral partnerships, and traditional advertising. The use of ISOs is commonly linked to elevated complaint rates, but we cannot find any SMB Global reviews related to the company’s sales team. This seems to suggest that the company exercises a good deal of control over the conduct of its resellers. This compares favorably to our list of best credit card processors.

No B.S. Promises

As an additional point in its favor, there are no misleading rate quotes or unrealistic promotions on the SMB Global website. SMB Global does not provide explicit details about its pricing to the public, but this is likely because its focus on providing merchant accounts for high-risk businesses requires custom pricing in most cases.

Our Final Thoughts

Low Profile but High Quality

SMB Global rates as a reliable merchant service provider according to our rating criteria. The company has maintained a nearly clean complaint record in the relatively short period of time that it has been active, and it may be the only provider willing to take on certain merchant types like CBD. Merchants are encouraged to read all of their contract terms and negotiate aggressively in order to obtain the best deal.

Sales person didn’t even listen to me and was about to hang up, because the domain name of my email ends with “.eu”. After I stopped him and tried to explain that business is registered in US but serves EU customers, he said they don’t want >%14 of international payments coming in. PHEW! Who gave them A+ rating?
