Pricing on Guest Innovations various Rezku POS solutions are available through the Rezku website. Rezku POS costs restaurants $69 per month per license. According to the company’s website, each license permits several user IDs for different employees, so it appears that additional licenses are only necessary in the event that a restaurant uses the service at more than 1 location. In addition to that monthly license fee, the company also charges $299 as a one-time remote training cost. Merchant reviews reflect that add-ons to its basic service can increase the monthly cost.
Those service add-ons can result in significantly higher monthly costs than Rezku POS alone. Rezku Reservations charges a similar fee of $69 per month which can be paid annually at a cost of $708 for an average of $59 per month. While restaurants have the option to pay for a year of service for a discount of $120 for the length of that term, the monthly fee imposes no year-long commitment. Rezku Waitlist offers a similar month-to-month agreement of $59 per month, or $588 when billed annually for an average monthly fee of $49. Rezku Prime does not disclose its additional costs but it does offer restaurants comprehensive software and hardware solutions that may exceed the expense of the 2 aforementioned additional services.
The Guest Innovations website conveys that the company utilizes Vantiv to process payments through Rezku. That means that in addition to the monthly cost of the POS system, restaurants must pay the rates and fees associated with a standard Vantiv contract. Vantiv merchant account agreements appear to vary from merchant to merchant based on several factors, including who set up the merchant account, each merchant’s business type, and each merchant’s processing volume.
Vantiv’s terms and conditions impose a three-year service agreement with an early termination fee of $495 or liquidated damages per each location, whichever is greater. Additionally, the contract may automatically renew for successive one-year terms if not canceled within a small window of opportunity. Vantiv also appears to charge a PCI Compliance fee which may be assessed either on a monthly or annual basis and may vary in cost from one account to the next. Some merchant complaints convey that Vantiv has entered them into equipment lease contracts with Lease Finance Group. However, since Guest Innovations relies upon a browser and iPad based POS system, it is unclear whether or not any equipment lease terms are included in its own standard contact.
On its face, Rezku’s contract-free, month-to-month plans sound appealing to restaurants. However, when taken into account with the 3 to 4-year terms of a standard Vantiv contract, not signing up for the yearly subscription to the service could end up costing them more. It is unclear if Guest Innovations removes Vantiv’s multi-year contract terms and conditions including expensive early termination fees from its own merchant agreements. If it does not, those costs coupled with the potential add-ons a restaurant may need from Rezku could prove to be more expensive than other restaurant focused POS solutions. Given those variables, we award the company a “B” in this category.

Employs Independent Resellers | No |
Advertises Deceptive Rates | No |
Discloses All Important Terms | No |
Guest Innovations does not appear to hire independent resellers for its services. The company sells its POS solutions directly through Rezku and integrates Vantiv’s payment processing services without any third party.
To its credit, Guest Innovations does not appear to list deceptive rate quotes in its official materials. However, this is largely due to the fact that it defers to Vantiv as a payment processor. The company does provide transparent fees for its POS solutions.
Given its transparent fee structure and lack of issues with sales practices, we award Guest Innovations an “A” in this category.
Given the extent of Rezku’s POS solutions to, Guest Innovations is a reasonable option for restaurants who demand tools to manage tables, reservations, and process payments. The company’s reliance on Vantiv for payment processing is one area where merchants should seek clarification from the company to consider how its terms and conditions will synchronize with the service plans offered by Rezku. Understanding which Rezku plans a merchant will need for their restaurant is also imperative to understand what potential costs additional features will have. Though comprehensive, Guest Innovations does not rank among our best merchant accounts for restaurants.
