The company does not charge an early termination fee, PCI Compliance fee, monthly minimum fee, statement fee, or application fee, and it allows merchants to buy point-of-sale equipment for its actual cost or rent it for a reasonable amount each month.
Helcim uses Interchange-plus pricing, which is a transparent pricing model that separates the interchange fee (charged by the card networks) from the markup fee (charged by the payment processor). This means that Helcim passes on the actual interchange fee to the business and then adds a small markup on top disclosed in a transparent way. This allows businesses to see exactly how much they are paying for each transaction, both from the wholesale card network fees and Helcim’s profit.
