Positive Feedback

To whom it may concern:

I recently signed up and I wanted to express my complete satisfaction with Payline. This is a first class company and kudos to my rep Andy Roth who went way above and beyond the call of duty to help me understand all my options. Great communication and always a quick response from him and a pleasure to do business with. I was with another provider for years and was not happy with them and wished I had switched over to Payline years ago. I highly recommend this company and look forward to working with them for many years to come.

Sincere regards,

Roger

What Merchants Say

Payline Data has also received 1 informal review in the last 3 years. A former review described deceptive fees added to the contract:

I have used Payline Data for almost 5 years with very few issues and ones that were always resolved. Recently, I discovered that they began adding risk fees with certain credit cards that started back in October of 2021. To my fault, I didn’t read the bottom of each statement I had access to on their portal stating that certain fees would be added starting October 1st of 2021. However, when trying to find out more about these fees and which cards they would be applied to for using, I could not get an answer. First, they stated that I was taking too many cards (not present) and/or swiping too many cards instead of using the chip. After explaining this was not the case, they said some cards have different risk levels and therefore they were adding these fees. Basically, certain business cards or rewards cards may have risk fees associated with them. Keep in mind, they were doing this and not the credit card company. So, everything I was doing for the first 4 years was fine but then I began getting charges for certain cards (like 50%) but they couldn’t tell me which cards were doing this and gave no solution to the problem. This last month, my credit card processing fee was over 4% and with only a small portion from AMEX. Ironically, the last time I spoke with them, they offered to give me a $500 credit for this year or something to that effect. This convinced me that they knew they were doing something that was not fair and decided to try and make me happy so that I wouldn’t leave. So, please be aware of this if you are considering using them for credit card processing or if you already do.

In addition to the inaccurate rates, it appears that this merchant was not able to resolve their issue through the company’s customer service representatives. Achieving a resolution of problems like this is potential clients should review their options for providers who exemplify great customer service.
