UPDATE 3/1/2019: The 4D Solutions website is currently inactive and appears to have been inactive since September 2016. We are unable to determine whether the company has been rebranded or shuttered, but we will cease updating this review until we obtain some proof that it is still in business. 4D Solutions, LLC (4dsolutionsllc.com) is an Auburn, Washington-based merchant account provider that specializes in providing credit card processing solutions for cannabis merchants. Founded in 2015, the company claims to offer marijuana dispensaries the ability to accept credit card payments on-site and receive those payments via an automated transfer to their FDIC-insured bank accounts. 4D Solutions states that it has worked with the Department of Justice, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, the Internal Revenue Service, and domestic banks to offer a legal MCC (Merchant Category Code) specifically designed for cannabis vendors. This would make 4D Solutions the only company we’ve reviewed that can provide such a service without a semi-legal loophole or workaround. We are currently unable to locate any negative 4D Solutions reviews, and there is no evidence to suggest that the company is a scam or a ripoff. 4D has existed for less than a year, so it has not had a lot of time to accumulate complaints.
