Note: As of November 2021, the site for Radiant Merchant Services is down. The last activity by the company was a job posting closed in October 2021. The company's Google profile now points to an online workspace provider called Bitrix24. We assume the company has pivoted away from the payment processing industry and will no longer be updating this profile. If you have information that suggests the company still processes payments, please let us know in the comments below.

Founded in 2017

Radiant Merchant Services (radiantmerchantservices.com) is a merchant account provider that appears to have been created in 2017. Its website also appeared for the first time in late 2017, suggesting that the brand was launched around that time.

Possible DBA of Prodigy Fulfillment Center

According to a complaint on our i3 Verticals review, Radiant Merchant Services previously did business under the name “Prodigy Fulfillment Center, Inc.” This claim is supported by the fact that Jeremy Fox is listed in public profiles as both the owner of Radiant Merchant Services and the president of Prodigy Fulfillment Center. Prodigy Fulfillment Center's website is no longer active, but the company has had its own Better Business Bureau profile for three years.

A Nuvei Reseller

Radiant Merchant Services is primarily a reseller of Pivotal Payments (recently rebranded as “Nuvei“) contracts, but its website also displays the logos of North American Bancard, First Data (now Fiserv), Clover, and Poynt. Nuvei is a registered ISO of Esquire Bank, Jericho, NY, and a registered ISO of Fresno First Bank, Fresno, CA; MVB Bank, Fairmont, WV; and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A, Concord, CA. BBB.

Radiant Merchant Services Payment Processing

Radiant Merchant Services processes payments for most major debit and credit cards for most business types. They offer PayAywhere smart POS systems, mobile and wireless solutions, terminal & pin pad combos, B2B check services, financing for heavy equipment, cash advances, pay-at-the-pump solutions, gift card and loyalty programs, and the Radiant payment gateway.

Radiant Merchant Services Location and Ownership

Radiant Merchant Services lists its headquarters at 1550 W Horizon Ridge Pkwy Ste.R Henderson NV 89052, but its registration with the state of Nevada also lists the address that it shares with Prodigy Fulfillment Center at 2213 N Green Valley Pkwy, Henderson, Nevada 89014. Jeremy Fox is the owner of Radiant Merchant Services.

Radiant Merchant Services Customer Reviews

Here's What Their Clients Say

Customer Reviews Summary
Total Online Complaints <10
Live Customer Support Unknown
Most Common Complaint N/A

Low Complaint Total

We have located only three negative Radiant Merchant Services reviews, none of which outright accuse the company of being a ripoff or a scam. Two of the complaints were generated when the company was operating under the Prodigy Fulfillment Center name. As noted above, all of these complaints are related to sales practices, specifically slamming-style tactics and undisclosed equipment leases. The company’s score has been lowered in this section due to the content of these complaints more so than their quantity.

Radiant Merchant Services Customer Service

Radiant Merchant Services does not offer dedicated customer support contact information on its website, so it stands to reason that Pivotal Payments handles most of the company’s customer support. The available evidence does not suggest that Radiant Merchant Services should qualify as a top-rated processor for customer service at this time.

Radiant Merchant Services Online Ratings

Here's How They Rate Online

Online Ratings Summary
Product & Service Complaints 0
Billing & Collection Complaints 0
Advertising & Sales Complaints 0
Guarantee & Warranty Complaints 0
Delivery Complaints 0

No BBB Complaints

The Better Business Bureau gives Radiant Merchant Services a score of “A” on their profile for the company, which is not accredited with the BBB. The company has not received any complaints or informal reviews in the past 3 years.

An “A” Rating

Due to the lack of complaints on their profile, we agree with the BBB’s score of “A” at this time. Merchants should still be aware that there are good reasons to be skeptical of any Radiant Merchant Services BBB profile that may be published.

Conflicting Evidence

The standard Radiant Merchant Services contract through Pivotal Payments (available in part below) outlines a month-to-month agreement with a per-transaction rate of interchange plus 0.30% (interchange plus 0.40% for American Express), a $25 chargeback fee, and no mention of an early termination fee or long-term equipment lease. This is unexpected given the existing merchant complaints that describe undisclosed long-term equipment leases as well as job postings on the Radiant website that describe the ability to place merchants in long-term leases. This discrepancy may be due to independent sales agents modifying the company’s standard contract to increase their residuals.

No Pricing Complaints

None of the available complaints about Radiant Merchant Services mention specific rates or fees. It therefore appears possible that the company could offer contract terms that are competitive with the cheapest merchant accounts. However, the complaints we have found regarding the company’s sales practices suggest that some agents are pushing highly undesirable contract terms. We encourage merchants to review all documentation before signing up through the company. We also encourage merchants to check out our list of the providers of the best merchant accounts.

Radiant Merchant Services Employee Reviews & Sales Tacitcs

Should You Work For Them?

Jobs & Marketing Summary
Employs Independent Resellers Yes
Advertises Deceptive Rates No
Discloses All Important Terms No

Inside and Outside Sales Agents

Radiant Merchant Services hires independent outside sales agents and in-house appointment setters to market its services. The use of independent sales agents is commonly linked to elevated complaint rates. In Radiant’s case, this practice appears to have generated the only three public complaints that mention the company. All three of these complaints describe deceptive sales tactics that are comparable to “slamming,” or misrepresenting your identity to trap agents in a second merchant account. This does not compare favorably to our list of best credit card processors.

“Slamming” Allegation Details

The complaints that describe Radiant Merchant Services’ slamming-style tactics have all been posted to CPO and mention both Prodigy Fulfillment Center and Radiant Merchant Services. Excerpts are shown below:

So, for the record, I was contacted by Ross Small stating he was from i3 Verticals. The contract he sent me was from 123 Merchant Services. His email address was from iPaymentsnv.com. The ‘new’ lease company that was named in our new contract was from Ascentium Capital LLC. As far as I’m concerned, these business are all SCAMS and not to be trusted.

I am also in two contracts thanks to Ross Small.Anyone have any knowledge of these lease disputes.First with Prodigy Fulfillment, who now changed to RADIANT Merchant Services.

The third complaint is from a competitor of Radiant Merchant Services, who was replying to a complaint from a confused merchant:

Let me be clear, you switched away based on bogus information and I have the name and number of the gentlemen who was responsible. I have done everything I can in order to get in touch with him and let him know this was not a legitimate deal and now you want to go to the Vancouver and Portland Business Journals and spread the word about my bad work ethics to others?

I have every right to charge you the full cancellation amount of $795 based on the agreement if I chose to do so. Your recourse here should be with Radiant Merchant Services and Jeremy Fox who ultimately goes through Pivotal Payments, he is the responsible party who created this mess.

It isn’t proven that Radiant Merchant Services is practicing these tactics on a wide scale, but this is the only publicly documented experience that merchants have had through Radiant’s sales channels.

No Deceptive Quotes

To its credit, Radiant Merchant Services does not promote misleading rate quotes on its website or in its official materials. However, the consistency of its available complaints inclines us to award its sales team a “C” for now. If you suspect that you have had undisclosed fees added to your Radiant Merchant Services contract, we recommend seeking a third-party statement audit to eliminate hidden fees.

Our Radiant Merchant Services Review Summary

Our Final Thoughts

An Average Rating Despite Negative Signs

Radiant Merchant Services rates as an average merchant services provider at this time according to our rating criteria. The company has received a low number of complaints, but the content of these complaints suggests that merchants should be extra cautious when interacting with Radiant Merchant Services sales representatives. The official documentation on the company’s website suggests that Radiant Merchant Services is capable of offering reasonable contract terms, which we would expect to see reflected in future merchant reviews. We will continue to monitor the company’s reputation to determine whether it will become one of the worst-rated providers or a worthy competitor to the top-rated providers.

I’m at a loss for words. I haven’t had a business of my own and am disabled from a bout with cancer of which brought my attention to the fore as I review my bank statement that consists only of my SSDI income. Certainly people of your caliber have better ways of obtaining life’s ambitions than to create this nightmare for myself. Nearly 500 dollars was taken from my meager 2
1800 dollar monthly income.. Unbelievable! do say so myself and and certainly needing some influential guidance.

Worst most deceptive company I have ever encountered. I inquired about this company through Facebook where they were advertising. They lied about their fee’s, associated cost and terms of service. I never used them and they are somehow trying to come after me for over $6k. I never used your ridiculous company, I see a class action coming your way. I will never ever pay you a dime. Worst company ever!! As a business owner I would highly recommend going with any other company, I use slice and they are way outta this companies league.

Actually your 5 applications came from our former representatives Jerrard Brown who claimed to be a close friend of yours. In fact you went into business together shortly before your accounts went into collections and Jerrard opened his own merchant services business. I think the 2 of you never read your 5 merchant services contracts, as they are legal, they’re not just something you can discard without any communication. I hope you and Jerrard’s trash can cleaning business is a great success and Jerrard was able to provide you with your merchant services needs moving forward.
      * In the future PLEASE read the legal personal guarantee section of any agreement you sign and commit to.

What a weasel! I heard the company is out of business, they made me wait for 4 months to get my coffee tables and levitating moon lamps ,but the tracking said its stopped at the custom in spain and I never heard anything back.. they steal my money in that matter. Not even a single message back, the tracking site changed to a Chinese company…whatever it was. Never got a refund, I dont know what to do really.
