A Merchant Account with Comprehensive POS Solutions

Founded in 2017, GivePay (also known as GivePay Commerce or FlatRatePay) is a merchant account provider that specializes in offering POS solutions to restaurant, salon, spa, real estate, and lodging businesses. The company offers a multitude of Square, Clover, and Poynt hardware options. The company offers merchants the option of a flat rate for swiped transactions and a standard flat rate for all keyed-in transactions. However, pricing will vary depending on which POS software a merchant utilizes. In addition to those storefront platforms, GivePay also provides an e-commerce channel through WooCommerce that charges merchants a flat rate for all transactions.

GivePay is headquartered at 5049 Edwards Ranch Road, Floor 4, Suite 04-0183, Fort Worth, Texas. The company is an authorized agent of Square and a registered agent of CardConnect, a registered ISO of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Concord, CA. and Synovus Bank, USA, Columbus, GA. Here's What Their Clients Say

Customer Reviews Summary

Clean Complaint Record

We are unable to locate a couple of negative GivePay reviews. Given the fact that the company resells various POS systems, merchants should research the complaint records of Poynt, Square, and Clover regarding any issues that may arise from their POS software and hardware.

GivePay Lawsuits

We have not found any outstanding class-action lawsuits or FTC complaints filed against GivePay. Dissatisfied merchants who wish to pursue a non-litigious course of action against the company should consider reporting it to the relevant supervisory organizations.

GivePay Customer Support Options

GivePay provides a phone number and automated form on its website. However, neither of those channels is dedicated to customer support. Merchant account providers with a great track record of customer service typically offer more comprehensive support options.

No Red Flags

Though there is no evidence to suggest that merchants are having negative experiences through the company, the lack of clear, comprehensive customer support channels is the basis for the company getting a “B” rating in this category.
